On 22 Sept, In the joint press release of 6th round talks of senior military officers stated that both side agreed to not sending more troops( Army and Airforce both)to LAC. there are an estimated 50,000 troops on each side of the LAC, backed with tanks , artillery and air Defence assets. The PLA has deployed intermediate ballistic missiles in occupies Aksai chin. 

Why china doing this– In last few days tensions in Taiwan strait median line and south china sea continuously increasing with Taiwan and US. China can’t afford three front war so finally china want hold on tensions in LAC for some days to focus on Taiwan. The PLA had resorted tactics in the south china sea when it test fired DF-26 and DF-21 missiles to threaten the US navy aircraft carriers , Ronald Reagan and Nimitz. in past few days Chinese fighters jets continuously cross the Taiwan strait and Chinese official said that they not accept any Taiwan median line.


Shinku la tunnel will build in Shinku la pas and this tunnel will reduce the distance of the 297 km long Darcha-Padum-Nimu road and help military convey reach Leh in just one day. The defence ministry has speeded up all border road projects in Himachal and ladakh amid the India-China standoff at ladakh.
Official said that this tunnel is now of the utmost priority for Centre and work on it will start next year.


At the present time ISRO have only Sriharikotta spaceport for launching satellites. ISRO started launching commercial and global satellite at low cost so numbers of satellites continuously increase and a single launch port not sufficient for it so ISRO felt the need of more spaceport to achieve target and the need of private company of space sector in India. In initial stage, private organisations which are interested in space exploration can’t afford costly spaceport so Indian govt decided to provided support through ISRO in launching satellites.

4. DRDO conducts second successfully flight test of missile target ABHYAS drone

The defence research and development organisation(DRDO) on Tuesday conducted successful flight tests of the indigenously designed Abhyas high speed expendable arial vehicle target(HEAT) in Balasore.
It said in a statement that during trails for interim test range, two demonstrator vehicles were successfully test range, two demonstrator vehicles were successfully test flown. The vehicle is a drone that will be used as a target for various missile systems, DRDO said. it can also be used as a Decoy aircraft, if needed. 

This is the second flight test of Abhyas drone when the target vehicle tested successfully. The first test was conducted in last year May, 2019. But during Tuesday’s test, Abhyas drone cleared its all the parameters that were being evaluated.

 DRDO said that the test vehicle met” the user requirement of 5km flying altitude, vehicle speed of 0.5 Mach, endurance of 30 minutes, 2G turn capability and Abhayas is fully-autonomous flight and runs on a gas turbine engine. Its inertial Navigation system is based on Micro-electromechanical system(MEMS) and it uses a flight control computer for guidance and control, the DRDO said.

5. NAG missile carrier NAMICA-2 launched by Defence minister Rajnath Singh/ Specifications of NAMICA-2 NAG missile carrier

Defence minister Rajnath Singh launched 15 products developed by DPSUs( Defence public sector undertakings) on 14th August. One among them was the NAMICA-2 (NA- Nag +MI- Missile + CA- Carrier) and as its name suggests, the NAMICA is tracked, Amphibious, armored ‘missile carrier’ vehicle based on the BMP chassis. 
The new prototype was developed by the Ordnance factory Medak in conjunction with DRDL, Hyderabad, and has an important substitution of 260 cr. In the first phase, and expected to rise up to Rs. 3000 cr. 
NAMIC-1 VS NAMICA-2:- The main visible change from the early version to the NAMICA-2 was the reduction of missile carried from eight to six, along with an additional six in reverse totalling to twelve missiles carried. Additionally , the NAMICA-2 is also given an Auxiliary power unit, which serves as an alternative source of power for the Vehicle’s new and improvised fire control system. this enables the vehicle to switch off the engine to reduce the infrared signature while being completely capable of firing the missiles, helpful in defensive and training roles. 
This vehicle is also equipped with the NBC protection suite, protecting its crew from Nuclear, biological and chemical attacks in case situation arises.
the vehicle is also installed with an automatic fire detection and supprerssion system and also features a remotely-controlled 7.62 PKT machine gun.
The maximum speed of NAMICA-2 is 64km/hour on flat terrian and 7km/hr in water making it immune to water obstacles like rivers or lakes.
